Men charged with pit bull offences
Three men appeared in Magistrates’ Court this morning charged with keeping unlicensed pit bulls.
Yusef Outerbrige, 42, of Warwick, pleaded guilty to keeping and breeding an unlicensed pit bull.
The court heard that police seized the dog and eight puppies on February 19 this year. Mr Outerbridge apologised to the court, stating: “I did not breed the dog on purpose”.
He received a $1,000 fine.
Chuck Waldron, 41, of St George’s, pleaded not guilty to keeping three unlicensed pit bulls, and keeping more than two dogs without permission. He was released on $2,000 bail and a trial date was set for October 29.
Scott Dill, 29, of Pembroke, pleaded not guilty to keeping an unlicensed pit bull.
The case was adjourned until November 3 and bail was set at $2,000.
