U-18 match abandoned

Bermuda Under-18 national cricket team's match against the Jamaica Under-17 side in the Sir Gary Sobers Tournament in Barbados was abandoned due to rain. The Jamaicans were chasing Bermuda's total of 168 for eight in 35 overs when the match was called off.

Jamaica won the toss and sent Bermuda into bat with vice-captain Jordan DeSilva scoring 39 and Joshua Gilbert and Macai Simmons both contributing 21.

Jamaica's Mickel Francis took three wickets for 26 runs while Ashan Plumber took two for 21.

Jamaica were 13 for one in four overs, chasing a revised target of 129 from 26 overs when rain intervened.

Bermuda are winless in their five matches so far with four games remaining.
