Police called out to spate of burglaries
Police dealt with four burglaries this weekend, one at a Paget guest property.
The guest property manager said someone entered a cottage and stole a 32-inch Toshiba plasma TV between 8 a.m. on Saturday and 9 a.m. on Sunday.
Also yesterday, Police attended a report of a burglary at 7 a.m. at Fort Scaur on Somerset Road in Sandys.
The caretaker of the property said that between 6 p.m. on Saturday and 6.50 a.m. on Sunday, cash and CDs were stolen.
A resident at Boundary Terrace, Devonshire reported that between 7.45 a.m. and 6.15 p.m. on Friday someone entered the home while it was unoccupied and stole jewellery.
Meanwhile a resident on Bostock Hill West, Paget reported that between 12.30 and 8 a.m. on Friday a silver 15-inch Dell laptop computer and a black Logitech web camera were stolen.
