But unaffected were league leaders Tools and Equipment who scored an easy 25-5 win over Dr. Pepper, thanks to fine performances from Dean Lightbourn and Conrad Lister.

Lightbourn and Lister came away with the night's top individual series of 628 and 646 while Lightbourn also rolled the top game of 233.

For the losers George Ben had the top score and Clyde Burgess posted a second high game of 225.

Dr. Pepper are now fifth in the tables after climbing as high as third just two weeks ago. They did, however, roll the second high team game and third high series of 975 and 2742.

Thompson's, meanwhile, got back on the winning track with a 22-8 thumping of Stevedoring Services.

Victor Thompson had the high score for the winners while Casey Burgess provided a solid performance for the losers.

Marlboro moved into second spot after an early run in the middle of the table with a 26-4 win over New Mix Ups.

Their second high team series of 2771 and third high game was spearheaded by Leon Smith's third high series of 596.

Lite Ice slipped into third place with their 161 -131 defeat at the hands of Franklin Travel for whom Colbert Pearman shone. Hilton Hayward and Reggie Saunders were top bowlers for the losers in a match settled by only ten pins.

The final match saw Team Spirit score a 20-10 triumph over a short-handed Spoilers team.
