The Jack Daniels Professional Golf Tour has one of its majors today with $700 up for grabs for first place – plus additional points for the Order of Merit.

Currently Scott Roy is in the lead for the Order of Merit title "Race to Goslings" which the winner gets a free entry into the Goslings Invitational at Belmont in November.

But there are three other professionals chasing hard – Twilton Smith, Brian Morris and Paul Adams.

However it could be that Daniel Augustus will be the one one who will test Roy hard as he starts to chase his dream of making it onto the PGA Tour.

Today's tournament will be held at Mid Ocean Club which is in excellent condition.

Dwayne Pearman and Anthony Mocklow are notable omissions from the field while Cornell Bean will be there with his new found health and practice regime and he is expected to post a good score.
