He will continue to report to John Lummis, RenRe's COO and CFO, who said: "Mark has demonstrated great skills and judgment as our controller over the past year and as our internal auditor prior to that. He brings excellent experience and capabilities to his role."

He joined PwC in 1997 and held positions of increasing responsibility in both Washington, D.C. and London during his tenure.

HWP Group has made a significant investment in state of the art technology for car repairs. This follows the installation of a computer controlled "Car-O-Liner" bench, used to restore auto bodywork to original dimensions following damage.

HWP Group's chief operating officer Alan Brooks said: "The Car-O-Liner AB Company is a world wide supplier of collision repair systems."

"HWP's pursuit of the highest standards for quality and efficiency in our service facilities was the deciding factor in the choice of Car-O-Liner AB as a supplier of our collision repair equipment."

Mr. Brooks said this equipment is accompanied by the purchase of state of the art welding equipment which produces factory standard welds in auto-body repairs.

"As a multi-franchise dealer, providing vehicles from many different manufacturers, our goal has always been to ensure we can provide the quality of after sales care for all our models and others. "The new bench and welding equipment give us the capacity and capability to repair a multitude of makes and models to exacting standards."

"Like Car-O-Liner, HWP believes in practical training that enhances our day to day operations. As new vehicle designs and concepts are changing constantly, there comes a need to change repair procedures and training."

Mr. Brooks said all HWP's technicians have undergone an intensive collision damage analysis and repair training programme for both the computerised electronic measuring and three dimensional mechanical measuring systems. This also included a training programme HWP's damage appraisers personnel. All technicians will be certified in the use of this equipment.

John Richardson assistant vice president of auto body repair said: "This really is a breakthrough in technology, giving our car repair technicians the ability to weld new parts that will be seamless, rust proof and finished just as they came from the factory on a new vehicle."

"Currently, HWP is the only car repair facility that has this equipment and therefore the only repair shop that can offer this technologically advanced service to the Bermuda market."
