The School House Nursery is sending a container of used childrens' clothing, shoes, books, blanketsand toys to an orphanage in Zambia next week. The targetted age group is zero to 12 years. If you would like to donate any items, please do so by dropping them off at the nursery school, which is located on Brighton Hill, Devonshire, anytime between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m. on Saturday. La Leche League of Bermuda will hold a support group meeting open to pregnant women, new mothers and babies on Saturday morning, November 8 at 10.30 a.m. in the first floor conference room at the King Edward VII Memorial Hospital. The meeting topic is 'The Art of Breastfeeding: Avoiding Difficulties'. LLL of Bermuda is a registered charity, offering mother-to-mother help and encouragement to women wanting to breastfeed their babies. An accredited La Leche League leader will be present to answer questions and address concerns. The meeting discussions include the latest medical research as well as personal experience. Free literature and a lending library will be available. Light refreshments will be served. Call 236-1120 for further information.

The Walking Club of Bermuda meets every Sunday at 7 a.m. and the group walks for six to seven miles. These walks are free and all are welcome. There are also cut-off points for those who do not want to walk the full distance. Meet in the parking lot at each location at 7 a.m. for a 7.10 a.m. start. This week the walk takes place at Bernard Park, Dutton Avenue, Pembroke.
