Top juniors fly in for golf Classic
Some of the world's most talented young golfers will arrive in Bermuda next month for the Ross (Blackie) Talbot Junior International Classic.
The tournament, which takes place from July 1-4, will be held at Tucker's Point GC and will see Bermuda's top youngsters take on golfers from Europe, South America, and the USA.
Among those taking part will be last year's junior boys' champion, Adam Leicki, from Bermuda while girls' champion, Colombian Mirabel Porras, will also be competing.
Clem Talbot, chairman of the Classic, said: "I am once again exceptionally pleased that last year's tournament raised the interest internationally and has now established itself on the worldwide junior golfing calendar as it certainly encourages diversity, goodwill, fellowship, camaraderie and family values, which are the key values and the legacy of the Ross (Blackie) Talbot Charity Classic.
All interested juniors should contact Kevin Benevides at 293-1215 for a registration form or e-mail info@juniorgolf.bm or go to www.juniorgolf.bm to download a form.
