The Ruth Seaton James Centre for the Performing Arts will hold its third Annual Black History Month Gospel Music Spectacular. This event was first held in 2003 and is fast becoming one of the highlights on Bermuda?s Gospel music calendar.

The organisers said they were delighted to once again showcase the best of Bermudian gospel artists.

Patrons for the evening are Mr. and Mrs. Leroy Simmons of Love Alive Ministries who will be honoured for their outstanding contribution to Gospel music and their commitment to the advancement of the arts in Bermuda.

The audience will not only experience the best of Bermuda?s Gospel artists, but will also be encouraged to reflect on the Island?s spiritual heritage.

Musical guests include the New Creation Worship Centre Liturgical Dancers, Septimus, the R.O.Y. Adult Dancers, Praize, the Vernon Temple Youth Choir, Lavette Fuentes, John Duncan and others.

?We believe that the children are our future and we always want to give them a chance to shine, which is why we have included this segment in our programme,? the organisers said in a Press release.
