The May 7 match between Village and Safeguard fizzled out into a tame draw but Village are claiming the full 10 points because Safeguard's line-up included Ben Alexander, who had already played for Premier side Young Men's Social Club, breaking Commercial League rules.

League secretary Dave Carruthers said yesterday he wants to thrash out the whole question of player transfers between the two leagues -- which are not affiliated -- at Tuesday's meeting to be held at the Department of Youth, Sport & Recreation.

All committee members and team representatives are asked to attend the meeting which starts at 5.30 p.m.

ROAD RUNNING Bermuda's only evening road race will be held tomorrow when Swan's Running Club stage their 14th annual North Shore five miler, starting from West Pembroke School at 7.00 p.m.

The flat course takes runners east along North Shore to the finish line at Shelly Bay Park.

Defending champions are James Cooper and Maria Conroy Haydon who clocked respective times of 27.59 and 30.05 last year.
