Burchall scored with a brilliant, dipping shot and added a late, loose-ball strike, to cancel out Wali Salaam's in-swinging corner for Cougars, but Trojans' Lamaul Crofton missed a handful of chances.

Somerset came out fast as Rodney Bascome failed to connect with a cross at the back post and Jelani Scott did the same, all in the first five minutes.

Cougars almost scored first in the 15th minute when Mark Smith's 20-yard shot missed by inches as Somerset 'keeper Keenan Tucker scrambled to cover his goal.

The miss cost Cougars two minutes later as Burchall scored a delightful goal to break the deadlock. Kenneth Swan partially cleared an incoming cross and Burchall pounced on the loose ball and from 25 yards volleyed over the head of Cougars 'keeper Ricardo Brangman.

Cougars created an couple of opportunities as Dwayne Bean continuously beat his defender only to be fouled to win a string of free-kicks.

Mark Smith will not be happy with himself after his first touch let him down just yards away from goal in the 33rd minute following a fine ball from skipper Shawn Smith.

Somerset began the second half in the same fashion and were unlucky not to add another in the 47th minute. Crofton displayed fine dribbling skills inside the box before supplying a perfect cross for Michael Brangman, but his shot from eight yards was saved.

Cougars threatened on the counter-attack and skipper Smith shot against the upright after Bean had cleverly put him into space.

Substitute Phillip Clarke also hit the post in the 67th minute as Cougars searched for the equaliser. It finally came in the 75th minute when goalkeeper Tucker was caught completely caught off guard as Salaam's left wing corner curled in at the far post.

The game then looked destined for a draw before Burchall added his second in the 85th minute, again latching onto a loose ball to drill home from 15 yards.

Crofton then unbelievably skied the ball over the bar from just yards out, as Michael Brangman demonstrated good skills to set up the chance.

The first gift came in the seventh minute when Ryan Evans knocked the ball back to Hill who was robbed by Shaki Crockwell who scored.

Hill made another error in the 28th minute when Vernon Eve's shot from 35 yards went through Hill's hands and went into goal off the upright.

Haile Outerbridge virtually made certain of the win five minutes before the break when he scored into the near post after receiving a pass from Dwight Warren.

Bottom team Parish, whose relegation back to the Second Division could be sealed by next weekend, pulled a goal back in the 44th minute when Irving Burgess followed up to score with a rebound from a freekick by Cymande Davis which goalkeeper Mitchell Steede saved but allowed to escape his clutches.

Vernon Phillips restored Boulevard's three-goal advantage in the 74th minute.
