Ashley and Nicole Yearwood will be among the team representing Bermuda at the upcoming Carifta Swimming Championships.

Ashley was a medallist at Carifta 2007 and recently set a Bermuda age-group record in the 200 metres butterfly at the Mayflower Management Services meet held at the BASA pool last month.

Nicole, meanwhile, has been nominated by the Bermuda Amateur Swimming Association for the Department of Youth and Sport's Junior Elite Athlete Award.

Some 16 swimmers will be representing the Island at the Carifta Championships, including Alexander Brown who was the latest competitor to qualify.

The championships will be held in Aruba from March 26 to March 31.

Others on the team are: Kellan DeSilva, Julian Fletcher, Emma Franklin, Eleanor Gardner, Morgan Hopkins, Rebecca Heyliger, Nick Patterson, Rachael Petty, Rebecca Sharpe, Nick Thomson and Denzell Wellman.
