During the week of January 25 to February 1 there were nine traffic accidents resulting in injury and 29 resulting in damage only.

12 people were arrested under suspicion of drunk driving while 12 vehicles were reported stolen.

Of the 12 stolen vehicles 4 were later recovered – two of which were cars.

Teenage girl Troylene Anderson still missing

The Bermuda Police Service is still asking for the public's help in locating a missing 17-year-old girl.

Troylene Anderson is about five-foot, five-inches tall weighs 186 pounds and has curly reddish-brown hair.

The teenager is known to frequent the area of St. Monica's Road, Pembroke and was last seen on January 26.

Anyone with any information on the whereabouts of 17 year old Troylene Anderson is encouraged to contact the Vulnerable Persons Unit on 295-0011.

Cash, DVD player taken from Hamilton Parish store

Thieves stole a quantity of cash and a DVD player from a North Shore business Tuesday morning.

Police responded to a report at 2 a.m. on Tuesday morning of the break-in which occurred at Calais on North Shore Road, Hamilton Parish.

It appears the thief gained entry sometime earlier in the evening.

Also thieves took jewellery from a Hamilton shop.

At 8.25 a.m. on Monday Police responded to a report of a break-in at E.R. Aubrey Jewelers/Fine Things on Queen Street in the City of Hamilton.

The burglary took place sometime between Sunday morning and Monday morning, with the thieves taking a quantity of jewellery.
