If chocolate, great music and giveaways conjure up delectable images your mind, Hamilton Princess will be your destination tonight.

VIP Promotions and SMOOTH cordially invites you to the crème de la crème, what they claim will be the biggest party of 2008, Chocolate City.

The event will take place tonight at the Fairmont Hamilton Princess where organisers promise a night of fun geared to those born in the seventies and early eighties.

Janson Cross, promoter for the event, explained where the idea came from.

"I came up with Chocolate City after flicking through the channels and came across Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory.

"It just so happened that it was on the part where Willy Wonka was telling the children that they needed a golden ticket to get into the Chocolate Factory and from there Chocolate City was born."

He continued: "Chocolate City is for all my 70s and early 80s babies, grown and sexy crowd.

"As Smooth would say, 'we are catering to the ladies', so you will be hearing a lot of music that will keep the ladies dancing and singing. Ladies might need to get a foot massage after this event.

The DJ's for the night are China & Bussy, D-Nice and Mikey B.

Mr. Cross said he conducted a survey about a month ago asking who were the best DJ's on the island. The results concluded all three of these DJ's were the top five favourites of the 100 respondents.

There are two type of tickets for the party, regular and VIP, which is being refered to as 'the wow factor'.

Mr. Cross said VIP tickets are recommended as there will be a lot of perks and giveaways.

"For our VIP ticket holders, they will get a chance to win a brand new Blackberry Bold during the night. VIP will also get a free shot of Bailey's and lots and lots of giveaways.

"The main goal with the VIP is to keep people in the VIP, so we also will have silhouette dancers."

Mr. Cross said in addition to all the fanfare partygoers will enjoy, there will also be a speciality drink provided by Burrows and Lightbourne.

The dress code for the ladies is brown and cream, "or if you are feeling bold, put on that red dress", Mr. Cross said.

He said the gentlemen will also have to dress up as sneakers, t-shirts and caps will not be permitted.

Mr. Cross expects this will be the party of the year.

"Smooth and I have been working together for a few parties and they have all gone beyond expectations, but we expect this to be our biggest party. I think this will surpass our New Year's Eve party we did two years ago when we shut Bermuda down.

"We are going to tease all your senses at Chocolate City. This is going to be a night of seduction for the grown and sexy."
