Kani Darrell, Jaymo Durham and Jeffrey Tyrrell combined to take nine wickets as Social Club handed visitors Bailey?s Bay their second loss in as many days at Devonshire Recreation Club yesterday.

Chasing a victory target of 157, Bay were unable to cope with the early bowling of the Social Club trio, crashing to defeat in 29.4 overs with just skipper Irving Romaine offering any resistance with an innings of 33 ? the only Bay player to reach double figures.

Bay lost their first wicket on three and were never able to pull away from disaster.

Romaine and Roderick Masters (seven) put on 37 for the fifth wicket but once the skipper was dismissed, Social Club quickly cleaned up the rest.

Darrell was the spark of the attack, taking three for eight in 4.4 overs while Durham claimed three for 24 off nine overs and Tyrrell three for 28 off 10.

Earlier Social Club got off to a shaky start with opener Mercal Smith given out with the total on four but fellow opener Dano Outerbridge (30) and Detroy Smith pushed the score along with a second-wicket partnership of 42.

Social Club managed a respectable total thanks to an innings of 25 by skipper Dwayne (Streaker) Adams and 21 from veteran Kenny Phillips. Jaymo Durham chipped in with 14 not out while Detroy Smith scored 13. Jamie Smith was the pick of the Bay bowlers, taking three for 41 off seven overs.
