STUDENT PROFILE Wesley Robinson say's he would someday like to be a gold medal equestrian and a karate expert.
With all the extra curriculum activities this 12-year-old is involved in he should not have a problem accomplishing these goals or any others.
Wesley was a prefect at Elliot school and has in the past been student of the week.
His hobbies include horse back riding, squash, karate, football, swimming, and cricket.
The youngster has to his credit a silver and bronze trophy in Karate won at the Bermuda Open Karate Championships on May 7.
He also boasts a second place trophy for bowling in the Bermuda Bowling Association Junior League and a silver medal for swimming.
An avid footballer, Wesley won a trophy for scoring the second most goals while playing for North Village Community Club's minor league.
The all rounder likes English and of course Phys. Ed. and his favourite food is pizza.
"My favourite movie is Three Ninjas Kick Back and my role model is Chuck Norris.'' Wesley said.
When asked what there is about the world that he would change if given the opportunity Wesley replied: "If there were one thing I would change it would be the fact that there is so much violence in school and that children are bringing weapons with them when they come to school.
"I think that school officials should check students lockers and bags to make sure that they do not have any weapons when they come to school.'' Wesley has two brothers and his favourite musical group is TLC.
Wesley attends church regularly thanks to his mom who he said always makes sure he and his brothers get up on time on Sundays.
The outstanding student said that his most memorable moments involve his two favourite things in the world.
"The worst day in my life was when I fell off a horse and hurt my back and the best day was when I won my first Karate medals.'' "I was so proud because it was my first tournament and I really did not think I would do so well.'' Wesley said he was excited that summer had finally come but he was really looking forward to starting high school in September at the Berkely Institute.
