The Minister should apologise
March 10, 2013Dear Sir,I often sit in and listen to the House of Assembly. This past Friday’s session is one for the record books. The Hon Minister Trevor Moniz’s comments sparked an outpoor of responses. In my humble submissions the comments made by the Minister were disrespectful and inciteful because to me they seem to suggest corruption by the former government and his comments even named a private citizen, Pastor Leroy Bean, and pinpointed him as being a possible reason why the Bermuda Land Development Corporation did not have sufficient funds.Whilst I may have had a different choice of words for Minister Moniz, I respect and admire the courage of the Deputy Opposition Leader Derrick Burgess for calling Minister Moniz out and standing firm and sticking up for his constituent.I think that Minister Moniz owes the House and Pastor Bean an apology.ERON HILL
