BANK'S CUSTODY SERVICES RATED TOPS BUC Bank's custody services rated tops The Bank of Bermuda's custody services has been rated tops in the Offshore Mutual Funds category of Global Custodian magazine's annual industry survey of 30 global custodians.

The Bank of Bermuda rates as one of the top 20 global custodians in the survey, and ranks as one of the two largest providers of custody to the offshore industry.

RICHARD BUTTERFIELD EARNS TOP AWARD AWD Richard Butterfield earns top award The Canadian Institute of Chartered Accountants has given its highest award, the Certificate of Merit, to Bermudian Richard Butterfield.

Mr. Butterfield is one of only two people awarded the certificate this year.

He is a retired partner from local firm Cooper & Lines, which is affiliated with international chartered accountants Coopers & Lybrand. Mr. Butterfield was recognised for being instrumental in establishing the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Bermuda and its formal affiliation with the Canadian organisation.
