Karen Adams and Simon Groves proved the perfect combination yesterday, as they teamed to win the Fidelity Couples Race.

Adams emerged as the top female, completing the five-kilometre ladies course in 17 minutes 27 seconds, while Groves ran the five-mile men's course in 31:27, giving they a winning combined time of 48:54.
The tandem of Neil de Ste Croix and Clare de Ste Croix were second in 49:19, followed by Georgia Belboda and Jamal Hart (49:23).
The married division was won by Samantha and Tony Smith (51:09), Kim Mason and Rod Allen took the family category, while Anne Feakins and Jeremy Ball were top masters (50:44).
