Glusing completed the 850 metre swim in 14 minutes, the 20K cycle in 34.24 and the 5K run in 17.55 for a winning time of 1:06.19.

Second place went to Mike Bouchard in 1:08.00 and third to Odilio Angeli in 1:11.00.

Kim Mason, one of only two females in the 13-strong field, won her division in 1:20.19.

CHESS CHS The seventh and final round of the Bank of Butterfield chess championships takes place tonight at the Chamber of Commerce. SAILING SLG Bermuda Yachting Association will hold their annual sailing instructors' course on June 28, 29 and 30. The course, open to those aged 16 or over, will cover safety, sailing skills and teaching skills.

Certificates will be awarded to those instructors who successfully complete the course at the prescribed BYA level.

Cost is $50 and sailors can register by calling the BYA office.

TARGET SHOOTING SHO Carl Reid, Bermuda's most consistent marksman, again finished top shooter in the latest Coral Reefs Rifle and Pistol Club competition at the Prospect Range with a 191 score out of a possible 200. James Rego was next best with 189.

TENNIS TEN Art and Helen Garrett of Virginia won the latest Coral Beach Tennis Club weekly round robin tournament with Alan and Anne Fibley of Virginia finishing second.

SOCCER SOC Dandy Town will hold an urgent meeting for all current senior players and any new players interested in joining the club, tonight at 7 p.m.

ROAD RUNNING RUN Mid Atlantic Athletic Club will hold their annual general meeting at the Police Recreation Club tomorrow evening, starting at 8.00.
