Former Argo Group International chief financial officer Robert Myron is to join Hanover Insurance Group.

Mr. Myron will join the insurance company as director of corporate finance and treasurer, overseeing corporate finance and supporting business development.

He was previously with Pitts Bay Road-based Argo Group as an underwriter of specialty insurance and reinsurance products in the property and casualty market. The 39-year-old was an executive vice president, chief financial officer and treasurer at the company.
