Govt wants to hear ideas at public lunches

Government has organised a series of public lunches in an effort to encourage discussion on topics affecting Bermuda.The first was held yesterday when “a group of people ranging from high school graduates to experienced business professionals” gathered to discuss unemployment and underemployment.The next lunch will be held on Friday at noon, when the topic will be Alternatives to Incarceration: Should We or Shouldn’t We?The events are organised by the Sustainable Development Department and held in their boardroom.Persons interested in attending should e-mail sdd@gov.bm to RSVP as spaces are limited.
