PALS Christmas fair, St. Paul's Christian Education Centre, Paget, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

DIVA 4 Life Event: Bermuda Diabetes Association invites women to attend a day of beauty at Fairmont Southampton Hotel from 1 to 4 p.m. Make-up, hair and clothing consultations, skin analysis, fashion show, one-on-one meetings with health and wellness professionals. The Walking Club of Bermuda meets every Sunday at 7 a.m. and the group walks for six to seven miles. Walks are free; all are welcome. There are also cut-off points for those who do not want to walk the full distance. Meet in the parking lot at each location at 7 a.m. for a 7.10 a.m. start. Bermuda National Gallery Lecture: 'The Nude: A subject of art and controversy' by Christina Storey, Ph.D. Reception 5.30 p.m., lecture 6 p.m. Admission: BNG members $10, others $20.

Bonfire Night Bermuda 6 p.m. onwards at Fort St. Catherine Beach, St. Georges. Fireworks at 8.30 p.m. Refreshments will be on sale. For information call 297-8043. Free admission.
