The yo-yo movement of Belco shares over the past few days continued on Monday as they fell $1.75 in value (seven percent) when 325 were traded on the Royal Gazette / Bermuda Stock Exchange.

On another relatively quiet day for the Exchange Butterfield Bank shares were also traded. 1,700 shares traded hands but there was no change in the closing price of $57.00. There was no other trading in Bermuda company listed shares on Monday.

The total number of shares traded during the day was 2,025 Bermuda shares and 283 of US shares, representing a value of $109, 672.30.

The Exchange dropped 32.18 points (0.64 percent) to end the day at 4,980.23.
