Butterfield shares fall 4.5% on BSX

Shares of Butterfield Bank dipped 4.5 per cent in Bermuda Stock Exchange trading.
The bank closed at $31.50, down by $1.50, as 250 shares changed hands. Butterfield’s US-listed shares edged higher by two cents to close on $31.20.
One Communications Ltd was the only other stock to trade on the BSX, experiencing unusually high volume.
The telecommunications services provider closed unchanged on $3.95, as 110,437 shares were traded.
The Royal Gazette/BSX Index fell 74.18 points, or 3.44 per cent, to close on 2,079.68.
The BSX Insurance Index gained 29.56 points, or 1.88 per cent, to close on 1,603.11.
