Things again appear rosy for defending Miller High Life League champions Tools and Equipment as they lead the standings at the season's mid-way point.
The past weekend saw them continue their fine form with a 20-10 triumph over New Mix Ups, with Dean Lightbourne leading them to victory with the night's third high series, while team-mate Ty Williams had the second high game of 232.
Vance Gilbert notched a 224 game for New Mix Ups, but his efforts were in vain as Equipment posted the top team game and second high series, 1,002 and 2,765.
In a closer affair Franklin Travel defeated Thompson's Towing 181 -111 , with the first two games decided by just six pins.
Franklin, though, prevailed in the third, thus taking total pins for the win.
Colbert Pearman was tops for the victors, while Victor Thompson led the losers.
In other matches Dr. Pepper downed short-handed Team Spirit 25-5, Stevedoring Services smashed Spoilers 27-3, while Marlboro got past Lite Ice 21-9.
