BAS tumbles 4.7%

Bermuda Aviation Services Ltd. shares suffered a loss of 4.7 percent yesterday, dropping in value 30 cents to close with a value of $6.15, on the trading of 1,000 shares.
Bank of N.T. Butterfield Ltd. was the only other company to see a change, with its shares dropping in value by five cents, or 0.3 percent, leaving them valued at $17 at the close.
The Royal Gazette/ Bermuda Stock Exchange as a whole dropped by 0.23 percent to 5,010.78 points, with 7,097 shares changing hands. Turnover was $109,802.
Meanwhile the BSX Insurance Index rose by 1.19 percent, leaving it at 1,092.44 points at the end of the day.
