International Light Tackle Tournament which takes place from July 9 to 15.

The six visiting teams are Freeport Anglers Club, Virginia Anglers Club, Hatteras Haulers, Reel Dealers, Honington Hoopoes and Virginia Too and each team will be made up of three individuals.

Seven local boats will be used for the tournament, captained by Sinclair Lambe ( Jamie C ), Russell Young ( Sea Wolfe ), Alan Card ( Challenger ), Gene Barnes ( Blue Chip ), Peter Olander ( Albatross ), Craigan Curtis ( Barong ) and Steven Rance ( Megabite ). The teams will use a different boat on each of the four days of fishing which are next Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday.

Weigh-in will be at about 5.30 p.m. at the Spanish Point Boat Club. Teams will leave the Spanish Point Boat Club at 6.30 a.m. and from Somerset at 7.00 a.m.

for the day's fishing which will begin at 7.30 and cease at 3.00 p.m.

There will be 10 trophies up for grabs, including the championship team, daily high point team and fish. Also, there will be cash prizes for overall high point boat and high point mate.

The rules of the International Game Fish Association shall be the overall guide to all fishing. The game fish specified by the IGFA shall be eligible for the 1995 tournament with the exception of all sharks and with the addition of the Almaco Jack.

Tackle is limited to IGFA approved eight, 12 and 16lb test line classes. The eligible release fish for all test lines are Billfish, Yellowfin and Blackfin Tuna only and points will be awarded for fish released. They include the Blue Marlin (up to 150lbs), the White Marlin (65lbs), Sailfish (50lbs), Yellowfin Tuna (24lbs) and the Blackfin Tuna (18lbs).

All billfish must be released and points will be awarded as follows: Blue Marin (900pts), White Marlin (300pts), Sailfish (300pts) and other species, one point per pound.

SOCCER SOC Teams competing in the Coca Cola Kenny Thompson Soccer Classic should pick up their applications from the Bermuda Football Association office. There will be a meeting on Thursday at Stonington Hotel at 7.00 for the draw.

All PHC senior and junior players are asked to attend a meeting this evening at the club at 6.30. Former player Kyle Lightbourne will speak with the players, after which there will be a question and answer period. Lightbourne returns to his English club Walsall on Thursday.

GOLF GLF The Amstel Golf League winds up this Saturday with the `A' Division teams playing at Mid Ocean and the `B' Division at Castle Harbour. Teams should be called into BGA secretary, Tom Smith today.
