The woman was a passenger on a livery cycle turning from Middle Road on to Burnt House Hill in Warwick on Thursday evening.

Police said the rider lost control of the cycle, causing both to fall on to the road.

The rider sustained minor cuts and abrasions. But the female passenger required treatment at King Edward VII Memorial Hospital for her injuries.

A bus driver told Police he was forced to stop his bus on Knapton Hill in Smith's Parish around 3.50 p.m. following a disturbance between several students which resulted in a rear window being broken. When the driver confronted the student responsible, the student ran away.

In one incident, a JVC Camcorder and accessories were taken from a car parked on Queen Street that night.

A 31-year-old Smith's Parish man said he noticed the items were missing when he returned to the car the following morning.

A Pembroke man reported that he left his car parked on Trott Road, behind the old Colony Club, while he went on a week's vacation.

When he returned to the car on Thursday, he noticed someone had removed "an expensive'' radio/cassette/CD player and amplifier from the rear of the car.
