John Hayward, 31, told Senior Magistrate Will Francis: "I should bring someone in to blow your f***ing brains out.'' Hayward, who is currently in prison for other offences, appeared in Magistrates' Court to be sentenced for the removal of a car without permission from the owner.

His sentencing was mainly to be determined by the results of a psychiatric report.

But Senior Magistrate Will Francis said he was not prepared to sentence Hayward and adjourned the matter until October 22 -- the same day Acting Magistrate Wilhelm Bourne is to sentence him for various housebreaking offences.

Mr. Francis decided to hand the case over to his fellow Magistrate so Hayward could "have all his matters dealt with at once''.

Hayward replied: "So you're saying you still haven't had time to read it (the psychiatric report) yet. F*** you. I should bring someone in to blow your f***ing brains out.'' Police prosecutor Sgt. Phil Taylor then asked the Police officers in the courtroom to "remove this man''.

But Hayward did not have kind words for Sgt. Taylor either.

"I'll blow your f***ing brains out too,'' he yelled. "You mother f***ers are going to die.'' Twenty-four-year-old Reid Jones, of Sandys Parish, has been charged with using a firearm to rob the Somerset Branch of the Bank of Butterfield of $70,000.

It is alleged that Jones and Randolph Lightbourne, 31, of Devonshire, committed the offence on July 8 of this year.

Senior Magistrate Will Francis remanded Jones in custody until his trial in December.

Also before the court was Kendra Minors, 41, of St. George's, who has been charged with stealing from three elderly St. George's residents between July and August.

Minors was remanded in custody until her trial dates in February, 1998.
