Bermuda's top musicians and entertainers on Sunday when the National Baha'i
Morrison's service and contributions to the local musical community.
Among the many expressing their appreciation through music will be: Stan Gilbert, Dennis Fox and Friends, Ronnie Lopes, Gene Steede, Shine Hayward, Leyoni Junos, Dion Flash and Nikki Herbst, Kion Simmons, Toni Barri and Friends, June Caisey, Phiemma Caisey-Wilson, Chalkie Virgil, Vic Glazer and Friends, and dancer Suzette Harvey.
All proceeds from the concert will go to the Andrew Morrison Memorial Scholarship Fund to allow youth musicians to further their educational music studies.
The late Mr. Morrison became a leading figure on the local music scene following his arrival here in 1984. In addition to being a piano teacher, he was an accomplished classical and jazz musician who was involved in a wide variety of professional and community musical activities.
In addition working as a freelancer, the popular Mr. Morrison was musical director for such well-known entertainers as George and Hubert Smith, Gene Steede, Wendell (Shine) Hayward, June Ventzos, Leyoni Junos, Gita Blakeney and Pinky Steede.

Well-known Bermudian artist and sculptor Chesley Trott will open his one-man show on Friday under the auspices of the Masterworks Foundation 's Artist up Front Street series.
The exhibition will feature Mr. Trott's new abstract pastels in addition to sculptures.
The opening reception in Masterworks' Bermuda Lane gallery begins at 5.30 p.m., and the show will run until July 14.
"Small'' is the title of the Bermuda Society of Arts ' next exhibition, which will be opened by Mr. Jay Bluck during a reception at its main City Hall gallery on Friday evening, beginning at 5.30 p.m.
All images are eight inches by ten inches or smaller, and have been juried by Mr. Bluck, whose "Small Packages'' exhibitions at the Heritage House gallery were so popular and successful.
