with both goals in Rotherham's 2-2 home draw with Carlisle on Tuesday night.

Last season's Third Division champions, Carlisle, took a 2-0 lead early in the second half with goals in the 53rd and 55th minutes on their way to what they thought would be their first win in the league after three consecutive losses.

But Goater earned Rotherham their third draw in four league outings when he struck in the 63rd minute and then equalised in the 82nd minute from the penalty spot. Goater has now scored six league and cup goals in six matches, including three penalties and is the joint second highest scorer in the division, just one behind the leader.

Kyle Lightbourne's Walsall team went down 1-0 away to Crewe, the winning goal coming 10 minutes from time.
