A 75-year-old pedal cyclist was yesterday in hospital with a head injury following a crash with a motorcycle.

The accident happened as the senior, from Pembroke, attempted to turn right onto the Railway Trail, on North Shore Road, Hamilton Parish, near its junction with Studio Lane, yesterday, at 7.25 a.m.

Police say the motorcyclist, a 24-year-old St. George's man, had been travelling west behind him.

The St. George's man suffered an injury to his right foot. Both victims were taken to King Edward VII Memorial Hospital.
