Man in ICU after overturning car
A Smith’s parish man is in the hospital’s Intensive Care Unit after his car overturned on South Road in Devonshire on Monday morning.
The 24-year-old driver was taken to hospital by ambulance and is listed in stable condition.
No other injuries were reported.
Traffic was temporarily diverted from the scene until the extensively damaged car was towed away.

Meanwhile, on Monday evening a motorist was arrested on suspicion of impaired driving after a crash on North Shore Road in Pembroke near the junction with Berkeley Road.
A police spokesman said it appeared the car was being driven along North Shore Road when it collided with a wall.
The driver, a 56-year-old Pembroke woman, was not injured. The vehicle was badly damaged.
