The incident was reported to have occurred around 7.30 p.m. on Friday night as the woman stood in a bus shelter near Spicelands Riding Centre on Middle Road, Warwick.

Police spokesman P.c. Gary Venning said the woman told Police she was waiting in the bus shelter with three others.

When the rain eased, he said, a black male and female left.

Police are appealing for the couple or anyone else who might have been in the area at the time and saw the victim -- who was riding a red auxiliary cycle -- or anything suspicious, to come forward.
