BEC seeks nominees for Business Hall of Fame

The Bermuda Employers’ Council is seeking nominations for the Bermuda Business Hall of Fame for the years 2000 to 2010.This follows the successful launch of the hall of Fame at City Hall in Hamilton last month, when the first inductees were Brian Duperreault, Sir David Gibbons, Sir John Swan and Sir Henry Tucker.The public, business associations and firms are invited to nominate individuals based upon corporate performance, management and vision, inspirational leadership and ongoing business ethics.Nominees should have a continuity of achievements and recognised as having made a significant contribution to an organisation’s success, be a role model for others, have had an impact on Bermuda’s business environment and have a strong community involvement.Areas of contribution may be in categories such as: tourism, economics, entrepreneur, business founder leadership, marketing/sales, service and technology.Nominations are only accepted online at www.bec.bm and click on the Hall of Fame logo.
