A Pembroke man has been charged with four counts of sexually touching a nine-year-old girl.

The man, who cannot be named unless found guilty, allegedly used his position of trust to sexually touch the girl on four different occasions between September 1, 2012, and February 28, 2013, prosecutor Garrett Byrne told Magistrates’ Court.

The accused denied all charges.

Senior Magistrate Archibald Warner released the man on $15,000 bail with one surety and ordered him not to contact or interfere with the alleged victim.
