Cabinet will soon be asked to approve a reviewed policy on GP cars, a Government spokesman said yesterday.Shortly after taking office, Government announced it would fulfil an election campaign promise to cut down on the use of GP cars to save taxpayers’ money.But there has been no specific policy announcement since.“The policy regarding GP vehicles is in its final review phase prior to going to Cabinet for approval,” a spokesperson for the Cabinet Office said.
