Sessions House work to end in March

The House of Assembly got $350,000 in refurbishments over the last fiscal year.A Public Works spokesman said a job upgrading the Sessions House fire alarm system had been offered to local vendors, and should be finished in mid-March.Other work includes repairs to the ceiling of the building, including the library.Nearly all that work is being performed by Ministry staff from the Prospect Depot, he said.“Various equipment and materials, such as scaffolding and the large crane, were outsourced from local vendors. These works are ongoing and are scheduled to be completed by the end of March.”
