Police Service accepting applications for Cadet programme

Bermuda Police Service is recruiting young people for its cadet programme.Candidates must be between 16 and 21, be in good physical and mental health and pass a vetting process including medical tests, a home visit and other testing measures.Benefits include free major medical and dental plan, a starting salary of $36,252 to $38,834 and access to a multipurpose gym and recreation clubs providing sports facilities.Applicants must be enrolled in an Associate Degree Programme at Bermuda College and must sign a contract to serve as a Constable in the Bermuda Police Service for at least three years after completing the degree.Applications are available at Somerset, Hamilton and Southside Police Stations and the Police Training School at Police headquarters in Prospect.Completed applications should be addressed to Bermuda Police Recruiting or Police Training School and must be dropped off to the Police Administration Building or Police Training School.The deadline for applications is October 21.
