Utilities keep busy

Utilities was the busiest sector on The Royal Gazette/Bermuda Stock Exchange Index (BSX) yesterday.

KeyTech Ltd. saw its share price rise 25 cents (2.5 percent) to $10.25, with 800 shares traded.

But Belco Holdings Ltd. slid 95 cents (5.6 percent) to $16, as 1,100 shares changed hands.

The only other trader was Butterfield Bank, which transacted 28,500 shares throughout the day, but its share price held firm.

Overall, the Index dipped 10.85 points (0.34 percent) to 3,222.19, with 30,400 shares worth $295,144 traded.

The BSX Insurance Index also declined 23.48 points (2.89 percent) to 786.21.
