A total of 7,800 shares worth $81,370 were traded on The Royal Gazette/Bermuda Stock Exchange Index (BSX) yesterday.

But the Index remained unchanged at 3,203.99, with only Butterfield Bank and BF&M Ltd. seeing any shares change hands.

Butterfield Bank transacted 6,800 shares, but its share price held firm at $9.40, while BF&M traded 1,000 shares to close at $17.45.

The BSX Insurance Index dropped 65.84 points (7.94 percent) to 762.76.
