Belco bounces back

Belco Holdings Ltd. bounced back from its 16.7 percent loss the previous day with a 20 percent gain ($3) on The Royal Gazette/Bermuda Stock Exchange Index (BSX) yesterday.
The utilities company traded 800 shares to close at $18 at the end of the day.
Butterfield Bank was also up five cents (0.49 percent) at $10.25, as 9,378 shares changed hands.
LOM (Holdings) Ltd., however, dropped five cents (1.29 percent) to $3.80, with 5,000 shares transacted.
The only other trader was BF&M Ltd., which saw 16 shares change hands, but its share price held firm.
The Index, as a whole, rose 62.96 points (1.9 percent) to 3,384.02, with 15,194 shares worth $127,944 traded.
The BSX Insurance Index, meanwhile, fell 25.37 points (2.84 percent) to 867.08.
