Butterfield Bank dropped 20 cents (1.91 percent) to close at $10.25 on The Royal Gazette/Bermuda Stock Exchange Index (BSX) yesterday.

The bank traded 14,500 shares throughout the day.

BF&M Ltd. saw 400 shares change hands, while Argus Group Holdings Ltd. transacted 46 shares.

The Index as a whole fell 34.95 points (1.02 percent) to 3,382.06, with 14,946 shares worth $156,923.50 traded.

The BSX Insurance Index, however, closed up 1.5 points (0.16 percent) at 887.33.
