Bermuda finished 27th in the Men's Junior World Squash Team Championships in Zurich, Switzerland, after defeating Venezuela.

The Islander's victory over the South Americans last Friday saw them finish ahead of Italy, Cayman Islands, and China.

Robbie Maycock, who recently won the Under-19 Junior CASA championship in Bermuda, said the team's results proved they could compete with the best in the world.

"I think all three of us (Noah Browne and Micah Franklin) have been inspired with the standard of play we've seen here in Zurich."
