Fans of Showoff Magazine who might have wondered whether the print edition of the publication would ever return, will be pleased to note that it will back on the shelves this week.

Patrice Morgan, editor of Showoff Magazine, spoke to The Royal Gazette about the new issue and said: "The August issue is packed with many young professionals who have made great strides within the entertainment and art industry, and within their own companies," she said.

"The last time we were on shelves was in February, so we've included pictures of events that took place between March and July.

"We also have a preview of Fall fashion. There's a wide variety of topics to view, but I don't want to give too much away."

Since January Showoff Magazine has been available in the form of an e-zine. Miss Morgan added: "The newsletter is our way of keeping in touch with readers when we don't have the print magazine on the shelves. It's filled with small feature stories that resemble the magazine."

This year marks the magazine's fourth anniversary and Miss Morgan said that it had been a huge learning curve.

"I have learned that life is a big, big, journey and everything doesn't always go according to plan," said the editor who started the publication when she was aged 22.

"I've learned much about people, thanks to our readers and advertisers! It's been interesting to see what interests them and on the flip side what they are most concerned about.

"All in all the last four years has allowed me to see what matters most in life and to persevere during hard times. I have become stronger more than anything else."
