Undefeated motor bikers enjoy wins

Wytiko Showers and Tamia Place continue to dominate the Bermuda Motorcycle Racing Club's Heart2Heart National Championship Series in the GP80 and Minibike classifications respectively, winning both of their races on Sunday at the Bermuda Motorsports Park.

Four race events into the championship, both riders are holding onto their undefeated positions, with a remarkable eight first place finishes already.

In addition to Showers and Place, three other riders had a clean sweep of their races.

Cyril Whitter won both races in the Superbike class, while Ed Cook and Bruce DeGrilla Jr. claimed the two races in the Formula and the 125cc classes.

The highlight of the race day was the intense battle between Robert DeVent and Andrew DeCosta in the GP125 class.

With DeVent back in his racing form the pair swapped not only spots, but also paint and rubbed elbows going around turns– the action typified the day.

As the season progresses riders will be pressing the limits to secure the coveted top spots, with increasingly technical tracks to test them on the horizon.
