Dear Sir,

Please allow me to congratulate Trinidad and Tobago on their win at the National Sports Centre, to be honest based on yesterday's performance they were the better team and deserve to go through to the next round.

However, let me hasten to add that Bermuda have nothing to be ashamed of, Kenny Thompson and the players have done this Island proud. After all how often does a team of predominately amateur footballers defeat a group of hardened World Cup professionals on their home turf?

I believe our national squad has made progress since Kenny's return and Broadley has come on board.

In fact I believe the future success of Bermuda's national team lies in greater cooperation and collaboration between the national squad and the Bermuda Hogges, but more about that in my next letter.

Congrats to the Bermuda Football Association for hosting a great match, Bermudian patriots for turning up in droves to support the team and last but not least the Bermuda Government for providing our football with the financial support needed to compete in international tournaments.
