The Internal Cleansing Seminars aim to cleanse all of your inner workings by using Eastern techniques.

The seminars will take place tomorrow at the Opportunity Workshop, which is on the corner of Roberts Avenue and Palmetto Road in Devonshire.

They will be conducted by Sifu Mike Barry and Sifu Gary Utterback.

Bermuda Sanshou Association president Garon Wilkinson told The Royal Gazette that the seminars are varied.

"At 10 a.m. to 11.30 a.m. this morning the seminar will be on 'Cleansing the Internal Organs and the Bone Marrow' and longevity," he said.

"Wu Chi – reverse breathing and teaching meditation and the second part will be about generating heat in the hands and transfer cleansing chi to the brain, to the skin, to the internal organs and to the bone marrow.

"This will be followed by an intricate "Inherit the Wind' sequence that will finish the routine by cleansing the lungs."

Part two, which begins at noon and runs until 1.30 p.m. will cover the five animal, five element, and five organ elements of Chi Gong.

"It will cover short movements of the tiger, snake, crane, leopard and a longer more complicated dragon sequence," explained Mr. Wilkinson.

"The Movements will be identified with their associated Yin organs and corresponding element.

"A sixth animal, the tortoise will be a difficult sequence requiring deep drop stances.

"In addition there will be the Wu Hao 32 movement Tai Chi form."
