A teenage motorcyclist was treated in hospital for injuries to her foot and elbows after she came off her bike on Middle Road in Paget.

The accident involving a 17-year-old girl from Southampton happened just before 6.15 p.m. on Friday.

Police said she was travelling west near the junction with Bostock Hill East when she lost control of the auxiliary cycle and fell to the ground, causing minor damage to the bike.
